Healthcare Roles

Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs)

Advanced Nurse Practitioners are highly skilled clinicians who can assess, diagnose, treat, prescribe medication, and manage both acute and long-term conditions in a similar way to a GP. ANPs can help with infections, minor injuries, medication reviews, chronic disease management, and complex patient assessments.

Practice Nurses

Our Practice Nurses provide a wide range of essential healthcare services including cervical screening, immunisations, wound care, contraception advice, travel vaccinations, and long-term condition monitoring such as asthma, COPD, and diabetes reviews.

Healthcare Assistants (HCAs)

Our HCAs support the clinical team by carrying out NHS health checks, ECGs, wound care, and other routine health monitoring services.

Paramedic

Our Paramedic supports the practice with home visits and long-term condition reviews, including dedicated care home support for some of our most vulnerable patients.

Physician Assistant

Our Physician Assistant works alongside the GP team to assess, examine, diagnose, and support patients with a wide range of medical conditions under GP supervision.

First Contact Physiotherapist (FCP)

Our First Contact Physiotherapist specialises in assessing and treating musculoskeletal problems including back, neck, joint, and muscle pain. Patients can often access physiotherapy support directly without needing to see a GP first.

Mental Health Support Worker

Our Mental Health Support Worker provides additional support for patients experiencing mental health difficulties, helping patients access appropriate services, wellbeing support, and ongoing care within the community.

Clinical Pharmacist

Our Clinical Pharmacist is an expert in medication management. She supports patients with medication reviews, prescription queries, and ensuring medicines are safe, effective, and appropriate.

Pharmacy Technician

Our Pharmacy Technician helps support prescription processing, medication queries, and medicines management to ensure patients receive their medication safely and efficiently.
